College!

In a few days time I'm starting college. I'm kinda nervous cause the school is over 2 times as big as my last school. Also this year I wil be moving around classes unlike last year when you only moved for maths. I'm scared I'll get lost! I've got my new uniform and the skirt is sooooooooooo itchy. It's not  a bad colour (dark green) but the tops (blouses) are extremely uncomfortable. I'm not sure if I'm excited or nervous but I'll find out about it on the 31st!

Sydney- part 2!!!

The 1st day we were in Sydney we went shopping. The shops were huge!!! One mall was three times the size of the richmond mall and 7 stories high! The shops were amazing with one shop just selling covers for phones and ipod touches. The food court in the mall was huge! it was at least the size of the richmond mall!!
That afternoon we went out to see bondi beach. The waves were huge and it was about 28 degrees and it wasn't even summer. There were quite a few people at bondi and there were some surfers surfing.That night for dinner we went to a restraunt up a tower similar to the sky tower in Auckland. And the restraunt went round in a circle so you could see all of Sydney! It was amazing!!! The food was a bit different though there was kangaroo steak and crocodile sausages!
The next day we went shopping again in the morning! I got a new ipod touch! Then in the afternoon we went to the Sydney aquarium. There were loads of amazing creatures like dugongs. Dugongs are like cows!!! but they live in the sea! They eat a lot of lettuce. they look sort of like whales but have a square head. There were tunnels you walked through to see the fish, one even had a glass floor so you could see fish under neath you. That night we went to a little italian restraunt.
And on the last day we went out to Manly. Manly is a beachy town. It was sooo hot and muggy!!!! Dad and I went for a swim at a beach with a shark net around so the sharks couldn't get you!!! I was so relieved it had a shark net. it was such a great holiday and such a big surprise! :)

Sydney!!!

Hey it's Anna. This post is about birthday. On my birthday I woke up excited! I went through to open my presents. Mum handed me an envelope that was quite thick. I thought it was a card but no. When I opened it there was a picture of the Opera house and another one of the harbor bridge! I was so excited I knew we were going to sydney but I didn't relise we wer going that day!!! at 12 we left for the airport and 3 1/2 hours-on-a-plane-later we arrived in Sydney. It was so unbelieveable because I thuoght I was going to school that day not to Sydney!!!

World Cup Winners!!!

New Zealand won the world cup for the 2nd time ever! and we played on home ground so there was a lot of support! Well done to the All Blacks with such a close final, winning 8-7 to france.

NZ in The Final!

Last night New Zealand played Australia in the semi finals for a place in the Rugby World Cup final. New Zealand lead all throughout the game and won 20-6! GO THE ALL BLACKS! Good luck for the final against France!

Hey its Annas again. This is a post about some of the best games so far in the world cup. One of the biggest upsets was when Ireland bet Australia! go Ireland! Another game I enjoyed was Italy vs Russia. That was because I went to see it at the stadium in Nelson, it was really cool to watch! Italy played so well! I can't wait untill the final I think New Zealand and South Africa will be in it.
